Dr. Iman Foroutan

Co-founder and CEO

Dr. Foroutan is the co-founder and chief executive officer of several technology and media production companies including DRTV Inc., Opus One Corporation, Classitech, Inc., ZipTech Media, and Invitation Records. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with an emphasis in Pattern Recognition and Image Processing from the University of California, Irvine. Prior to launching the companies he now leads, Dr. Foroutan was a principal consultant within the aerospace and information systems industries providing advice to the United States Air Force and Navy, as well as several global corporations, including Northrop Grumman and Hughes Aircraft Company. He is acknowledged for his research contributions to the Handbook of Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision while working for Hughes Aircraft Company's Microelectronic/Circuits Division, and is referenced in various journals such as the IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics for discoveries made while developing his Ph.D. thesis.

Paralleling his academic pursuits, Dr. Foroutan became an accomplished artist. Combining his love for music with his technical expertise, he designed and developed an online voting system that has applications in marketing, entertainment and political arenas. Dr. Foroutan holds two United States patents pertaining to online voting systems with numerous patents pending. At DRTV Inc., Dr. Foroutan's education, business background and patented technologies all contribute to increased probability of campaign success.
